Also, yesterday I read Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

It was good. But the whole time I kept thinking that re-imagining the Civil War in a way that makes slavery a peripheral issue is white privilege suckery at its finest.

You did that to me, Tumblr.

You’re the reason Peter Pan went from being my favorite animated movie to one I won’t let Bean watch.

You’re also the reason he already knows what stereotyping and cultural appropriation are, and will never ever hear his mother say “retarded” or use “gay” as a synonym for “weird” or “the opposite of awesome”. 

And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
